Contract of Obafemi Ayanbadejo terminated

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

The Bears terminated the contract of FB Obafemi Ayanbadejo on Monday, the day he was eligible to return from the reserve/suspended list.

The move means the team will remain with Lousaka Polite as the backup to starter Jason McKie.

As a vested veteran, Ayanbadejo's contract for the season would have been partially guaranteed had the Bears added him to the 53-man roster. The team has not been dressing Polite for games, so the determination was likely made that the team could get special teams help from elsewhere.
