Urlacher sitting out Friday practice

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

MLB Brian Urlacher is sitting out Friday's practice at Halas Hall, and WR Muhsin Muhammad has suited up for a Friday practice for the first time this season.

Urlacher missed practice last Friday with what Lovie Smith called a sore back.

And there was more punting news ...

Dirk Johnson was taking reps with special teams while Brad Maynard sat on a bench wearing a visor and without a helmet. It'ss a good bet Maynard will not participate in the practice if he doesn't have a helmet.

Johnson's left quad injury, suffered on a tackle of the Chiefs Eddie Drummond last Sunday, has healed.

Just in time for the start of practice, the Madden Cruiser arrived in front of Halas Hall in preparation for NBC's broadcast of the game Sunday night with Dallas.
