Tommie Harris fined five large

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

The NFL reached into the pocket of DT Tommie Harris and removed $5,000 this week.

Harris was fined for what the league deemed to be a major facemask infraction during the fourth quarter of last Sunday's 20-10 victory over Kansas City.

He was penalized 15 yards on the play for grabbing Damon Huard's facemask. It was one of two sacks during the game for Harris, who is off to a dynamic start and should pose real matchup problems for Dallas Sunday night.

Harris entered the season with 11 1/2 sacks and had a career-high five last season. Provided he remains healthy, he could match the 11 1/2 this year.
