Report: Archuleta has broken hand

Profootballtalk.com reports that SS Adam Archuleta suffered a broken hand in Sunday's loss to Dallas, but is expected to play this week at Detroit.

Archuleta was seen Monday at Halas Hall wearing a brace on his right hand/wrist.

After his name was omitted in a list of injuries rattled off by Lovie Smith, he was asked specifically about Archuleta's condition.

"As you look after a game like that, a physical game like that, there were a lot of icebags for the players and just general soreness after the game," Smith said. "I’ll say that. Hopefully, [he] will be OK and we’ll go from there."

A team spokesman said the team would not have any injury updates until Wednesday. Check back for more details.
