Selling a Chicago Olympics

| | Comments (16) | TrackBacks (0)

Chicago is getting ready for its big Olympics sales job.

Members of the International Olympic Committee arrive here Thursday for a key visit. Chicago's bid team will put its best face forward as it tries to convince the members that Chicago should host the 2016 summer games over Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.

If you could tell the IOC members one important thing to know about Chicago, what would it be?

Our former governor, Rod Blagojevich, is going to write a tell-all book for a six-figure deal.

The only problem is the title is pretty boring.

"The Governor."

Snooze city.

Who's going to spend $24.95 for that?

Here at BackTalk, we're happy to suggest a few snappier titles for our former governor's new book.

How about "Show Me the Money"

Or "Sex, Lies and Audiotape"

Or "Animal House: The Inside Story of Illinois Politics"?

Those are just a few suggestions, and we're sure the dedicated readers of the Chicago Sun-Times will come up with better ones.

Let's hear from you.
