O.J. Simpson trial - BackTalk

O.J. Simpson trial

| | Comments (6) | TrackBacks (0)

The urge to rely on character in O.J. Simpson's latest trial must be irresistible to prosecutors in Las Vegas aiming to convict the infamous former pro football star in his latest brush with the law: He's charged with kidnapping, armed robbery and more, and faces life in prison. Justice can prevail by sticking to the facts and just the facts of this particular case, not leaning to residual anger from his 1995 aquittal in the slaying of his ex-wife and her friend. It's important to get it right.

I live in the great State of Nevada. Simpson will get a fair trial as the Justice system here in Clark County (Las Vegas) is well run and the judge has a good reputation. She runs a tight courtroom. If convicted he will serve time in some of the toughest prisons anywhere. That do not play games here in Nevada unlike Los Angeles and I think Simpson and his attorney know it. Forget discrimination..here in Sin City everybody gets treated the same. Can the same be said for Chicago?

You got alot of nerve disrespecting the city of Chicago Will he get a fair trail here. Just because the state is in the running of making a name for itself be being the on to say "WE GOT O.J. FOR WHAT YOU ALL THINK HE GOT AWAY WITH" MURDER!!!! DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WOULD COMMIT AN ARMED ROBBERY AND ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING AFTER ESCAPING WITH HIS LIFE AFTER A MURDER TRAIL. NO HE ONLY WANTED HIS BELONGINGS WHICH WAS ONLY SOLD TO PISS HIM OFF. BUT OH NO YOU ALL WANT TO PROSECUTE HIM FOR MODERN DAY ITERACIAL DATING AFTER BEING ACCUSED OF KILLING A WHITE WOMEN. WHICH IS A WEAK ALLEGORY CAUSE (YES THAT MEANS THE STORY WITHIN THE STORY).

Forget discrimination..here in Sin City everybody gets treated the same. Can the same be said for Chicago?

LOL LORD NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have so much corruption and favoritism in this city it is a joke. Where else but Chicago can the Mayor stand up and say the CTA has been underfunded for 19 years. Naturally he doesn’t mention that he has been Mayor for 20 years or that his roommate for college was the president of the CTA the entire time. He would rather point the finger toward Springfield.

Only in Chicago can you have a video of a cop beating the hell out of waitress or a man in a wheelchair and that cop still have a job in the morning. Lest we forget the two missing Peterson wives. Yes Chicago’s finest at work there.

Fair trial for OJ Simpson in Chicago, ure if he is connected with the city, is a cop or has a boat load of money. Give him a fair Nevada if he did it nail him to the cross. In Chicago he would walk.

Michael W. obviously does not live in Chicago. Drew Peterson was a Bolingbrook officer, not a member of the Chicago Police. Peterson and Stebic are suburbanites. Please stop pretending that crime does not occur in suburbia. Any large city will have higher crime rates than less populated suburbs. Too many people in too small a space.

In the case of this trial, it would be extremely unjust to bring up any aspects from Simpson's previous trial. However, it is human nature to fall back on their biases. Unfortunately, it is extremely unlikely that the prosecutor will leave his biases outside the court room. The prosecutor will unfairly sway the jury's decision, resulting in an unjust trial. This goes to show how the criminal justices system is going down the drain.

I have lived in both Chicago and Las Vegas, Nevada and can speak with some sense of intelligence and clarity. Chicago can have its
good and bad justice. You have to sort it out. Nevada is just the same, so really it comes down to a crap shoot. (HA,HA!) One justice
is the same as the other. If you have a good attorney and a good judge, you will receive the proper verdict as the judge truly can
influence a jury.
