Middle-class tax increase averted

Taxpayers dodged a bullet Wednesday when Congress approved a plan to postpone the alternative minimum tax (ATM), which would have required the middle-class to pay thousands more in taxes. Are you as relieved as we are that President Bush has indicated he'll sign off on it?

Woohoo! Our government cut taxes on millions of Americans. Great. Now if only they'd do something about the $50 trillion in unfunded liabilities that will literally destroy our economy in about 10 years then we'd be in great shape. Perhaps the people sitting at the trough will remember that when they go to the polling booths at the primaries and in November. That $21 billion is a drop in the bucket compared to the entitlements that all you greedy middle-aged and up people are demanding at our (under-40 people) expense.

The Bush adm has diverted too much $$$ away from Firefighters,FEMA,War Vets,US Navy and
Congress in general.

Warrentless wiretapping and the use of white collar criminals, now collectively known as
Supplimental War Funding, Was drafted by the clintons in the early 90's. It is what gave rise
to Halliburton and KBR.

On-going previous "Experience" is what keeps the above alive.
