Here’s something to celebrate: The number of murders in Chicago is down again this year. In fact, we haven’t had numbers this low since 1966.

There were 409 homicides through November, a drop from last year’s 438. And by year’s end, overall crime is expected to drop for the 16th straight year. Every homicide is one too many, but it looks like the police are getting something right.

What is amazing is no matter how much the crime rate goes down, people seem more and more fearful. Crime rates go up and down; people's fear of crime just goes up and up. It's like no correlation between the crime rate and fear of crime exists at all.

Big thanks to the finest police department in the world! Despite having your hands tied by liberal thinking (racial profiling, police brutality, etc etc ), the men in blue have kept us safe. God bless you all and keep you all safe!

The one commendable thing is that even though the city of Chicago chooses not to hire young black men or respect the rights of young black men, these individuals still choose not to react violently. You can have your racial profiling and police brutality if it makes you feel superior.
