Performers were announced today for the cumbersomely titled "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! -- Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" concert scheduled to air live at 8 p.m. Dec. 3 on CBS.

Grammys turn nominee announcements into primtime TV special

The Grammys are turning a dry nominations announcement into an hourlong TV special.

''The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! -- Countdown to Music's Biggest Night'' will air Dec. 3, CBS announced Thursday. The Grammy Awards are scheduled for Feb. 8 on the network.
