The 50th annual Grammy Awards received five Emmy nominations for the telecast:
• Outstanding Art Direction For Variety, Music, or Nonfiction Programming
• Outstanding Lighting Direction (Electronic, Multi-Camera) for VMC Programming
• Outstanding Music Direction
• Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Variety Or Music Series Or Special
• Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special
That means the Grammys have now been nominated 14 times for production Emmys, and a total of 16 times overall.
