The Recording Academy announced today the date for next year's Grammys: Feb. 8, 2009, airing live at 7 p.m. on CBS from L.A.'s Staples Center.
Nominees will be announced on Dec. 4. The eligibility period for nominations is Oct. 1, 2007–Sept. 30, 2008.
