This is how this Sunday's Golden Globes event seems to be shaping up, how it'll look on TV and who the heck will be involved ...
The Globes press conference will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Sunday on WMAQ-Channel 5. But according to a press release from NBC today, first will be a "Dateline NBC" special with alleged star power.
Starting at 6 p.m., Globes nominees James McAvoy, Sally Field, Ellen Page, Amy Adams, Kyra Sedgwick, William Shatner, Nikki Blonsky, Patricia Arquette and others will sit down for one-on-one interviews with NBC News correspondents. The special is called "Going for Gold," and will be hosted by Matt Lauer.
The special also includes commentary by comedian Kathy Griffin, and NBC's "Football Night in America" team will be predicting the night's winners.
And what's on after the Globes? NBC is considering showing its new reality show “American Gladiators." The end is nigh.
