Did you know Chicago had its own "Grammys"? The 26th annual Chicago Music Awards announced its annual slate of nominees today (hit the link, then click on "nominees" for the full list) at the Velvet Lounge. The top award, Pop Entertainer of the Year, includes such luminaries as probable Oscar contender Jennifer Hudson, plus Joan Hammel, Kanye West, Ladi Lyke and R. Kelly. The awards ceremony is Jan. 28 at Park West.
