The Independent Film Channel's nomination show marks the first time film fans can see the 2007 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards nominations announced live. Felicity Huffman and Don Cheadle will present the nominees tomorrow at 10 a.m. (Chicago time) from the Sofitel LA hotel. Watch the webcast at IFC's awards site.
Selected from more than 250 submissions, this year’s winners will be unveiled at the Spirit Awards ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 24, in a tent on the beach in Santa Monica, Calif. Sarah Silverman will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the second consecutive year.
The ceremony will air live beginning at 4 p.m. on IFC. Live red carpet footage will precede the show starting at 3:30 pm on the WE cable network, and an edited re-broadcast of the ceremony will air later that evening on AMC at 9 p.m.
