Want to see Pearl Jam play at Wrigley Field on July 19? Well, get in line.
The question, though, is: Which line?
Tickets for the concert go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 at tickets.com or by calling 1-800-THE-CUBS. Tickets will not be available at the Wrigley Field Box Office.
Hopefully there will be some left.
Pre-sales for the show are under way now. First, already existing subscribers to the Cubs' Community Connection newsletter (produced for Wrigley Field's many patient neighbors) were notified last week that they get first crack at Pearl Jam tickets during a pre-sale Feb. 6-8. The newsletter has about 8,000 subscribers.
Also in on the pre-sale are Cubs season ticket holders, who received notice Tuesday.
The notice says, "Ticket prices for the show range from $52 - $77 which includes a $2 contribution to Vitalogy."
Tickets for Bruce Springsteen last summer at Wrigley cost $45-$103. The year before, Paul McCartney at Wrigley ran from $34.50 to $255.
The donation is for the Vitalogy Foundation, the band's education and environment charity.
Country star Jason Aldean also is set to play the famed ballpark on July 20.

Is there a reason why tickets.com doesn't even have the Pearl Jam show listed on their website?!
