Now that your Grammys hangover has worn off, how about another cheeseball music awards show?

Nominations were announced this morning for the mtvU Woodie Awards. Vying for chunks of wood this year are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, MGK, Jack White, fun., Avicii, Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, Best Coast, Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Frank Ocean, Zedd, twenty|one|pilots and more.

For those who do not live in a stinky dorm, mtvU is an extra MTV cable channel made available to targeted university markets as well as a few digital cable services. It tends to show less reality programming in favor of actual music videos, with a focus on emerging artists.

The Woodies are voted by viewers -- in categories such as Woodie of the Year, FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), Best Video, Tag Team, Branching Out and more -- and voting is open now.

Leading the nominees this year are Jack White and EDM artist Dillon Francis, with two each.

The Woodie Awards ceremony takes place March 14 in Austin, Texas, during the music portion of the annual South by Southwest media conference. A half-hour highlights special will air on mtvU at
7 p.m. March 17.
