Legendary comic Robert Klein comes to UP Comedy Club

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Returning to his local comedy roots, legendary standup and former Second City mainstage star Robert Klein -- whom Jerry Seinfeld counts as one of his biggest influences -- plays UP Comedy Club in Old Town Nov. 9 through 11. A veteran stage/screen performer and a mainstay of HBO (he taped his latest and ninth special in 35 years -- "Unfair and Unbalanced" -- in 2010), Klein focuses these days on age, aging, politics -- and whatever else is on his always curious mind. Expect original song parodies, too, done with longtime accompanist and co-composer/-co-lyricist Bob Stein.

Tickets $25
