Time to think winter fun in the city: The ice skating rink in Millenniium Park opens to the public on Nov. 16 (weather permitting).
Located on Michigan Avenue between Washington and Madison, the skating is free; skate rentals are $10.
Daily hours will be noon to 8 p.m. Mon.-Thurs.; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sat. (through Dec. 22), 10 a.m. to 9 p.m Sat. (beginning Jan. 5); 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sun. Special holiday hours will be in effect for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
