Lunafest is bringing its traveling, female-centric short film to Chicago tonight.
Each year, Lunafest makes stops at more than 150 stops across North America to spotlight the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent, funny and thought-provoking themes. In the process, all of its proceeds are donated to nonprofits such as the Breast Cancer Fund.
The cocktail reception will be held at 6 p.m. at the Museum of Broadcast Communications, 360 N. State St., followed by the film screening at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 to $50.
