After complaining of chest pains, actor and Chicago (Beverly) native George Wendt was hospitalized Sunday. While he's expected to make a full recovery, the "Cheers" actor was forced to drop out of a soon-to-begin run of "The Odd Couple" at Skokie's Northlight Theatre. On Tuesday Wendt -- also known for his portrayal of cheesily mustachioed, Ditka-worshipping Bears Superfan Bill Swerski on Saturday Night Live and elsewhere -- posted this update on his Facebook page:

"Doctors have indeed found a piece of Polish sausage lodged in the lining of my heart. They refer to the condition as coronary kielbasis. Apparently I'll do anything to be like Ditka."
