Garth Brooks will bring down the curtain on his hugely popular show at the Encore Theater Wynn Las Vegas on Nov. 17.
Of the show, which was more a journey through the music that shaped his life rather than a concert, Brooks said in a prepared statement:
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wynn. Mr. [Steve] Wynn told me that the Wynn audiences were some of the best in the world and he was right!"
Brooks' shows were weekend-only affairs, and select weekends throughout the year, making tickets ($253) among the highest-priced and most sought-after on the Strip. Rumors about Brooks' return to full-out concert touring have been swirling for the past few years, with the singer dropping a few hints along the way about getting back to music once his youngest daugther started college (that would be 2014).
Tickets for the final shows, Oct. 5-6; Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 16-17 are available www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-65-GARTH. For more information visit www.wynnlasvegas.com.
