Chicago Beer Festival taps brew Saturday

When coworkers tout the tastiness of a ham and cheese sandwich in a pint glass -- the Chicago Beer Festival has the suds to prove it.

While Munich has its month-long paean to brew, Chicago's Octoberfest season is fleeting, with a few bar nights and even fewer street festivals. Union Station is host to more than 50 brews from coast to coast, so regional favorites are tapped all in one spot.

Much like Baconfest, there are two sessions. The first is from 1 to 4 p.m.; the second starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 and will not be sold at the door.
