No go on Beyonce and Jay-Z getting the trademark for their daughter's name, Blue Ivy.

Back in January, the couple filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office to get a trademark for their baby's unique name. Unfortunately for Beyonce and Jay-Z, a Boston event planning company has had the same name since 2009 and sued the couple for their attempt to gain the trademark. Blue Ivy events won the suit, meaning Beyonce and Jay-Z have no legal rights to their daughter's name.

Beyonce had planned to name a baby product line Blue Ivy.
