It's not every day that Broadway gets such big names performing.

Oscar winner Tom Hanks will make his Broadway debut as a gutsy New York City newspaper columnist in Nora Ephron's play "Lucky Guy."

Ephron, who died of cancer in June, gained recognition as the writer of films such as "When Harry Met Sally" and "Sleepless in Seattle," which starred Hanks.

Hanks is also the star of such films as "Forrest Gump," "Philadelphia," "Apollo 13" and "Saving Private Ryan."

An opening night for "Lucky Guy" is set for Apr. 1.

New York Times has the story.
